Appeals and Complaints
SSBT is open to addressing any student complaints, grievances or appeals and will record the outcomes of these appeals and complaints.
In the first instance students should discuss any issues with their teacher/assessor or Academic Support Officer. If the matter is unresolved, the VET Coordinator should be informed. If the student is still not satisfied the Managing Director will be consulted. The suggested resolution will be notified to the student in writing, with a clear justification for the outcomes.
If the dispute is still not resolved to the student’s satisfaction, the next step available is to make a formal submission to the Managing Director for an independent review by the Australian Council for Private Education and Training.
